The BWD3 XWD1 cycloidal gear reducer (often called a cycloidal drive, cyclo drive, or cycloidal speed reducer) is a specialized type of precision gearbox known for extremely high reduction ratios, compact size, exceptional shock load capacity, near-zero backlash, and high torque density. It operates on a fundamentally different principle than planetary or harmonic drives.

This robust system combines planetary transmission principles with cycloid pin tooth interlocking, consisting of three main components: the input section, reduction unit, and output section.
